Deal: Nexus 7 (2013) 16GB for $129 on eBay Deals, $100 Off

Another Friday, another deal on the Nexus 7 (2013). In today’s price slashing, you are looking at the 16GB WiFi model for $129, which is $100 cheaper than a brand new retail unit through Google Play. You also get free standard shipping with purchase.

This unit has been “manufacturer refurbished,” so it is not brand new.

This may be the best deal we have seen yet for last year’s Nexus 7-incher. Even though it is a year old, and Google decided not to give us a 2014 model, the N7 is one hell of a tablet that still has at least a good year of updates ahead of it. Keep in mind that this is the version that has an Android L developer preview available to it, in case that interests you.

Thanks for the heads up on a great deal…ordered one for myself

  • Craig P

Thanks for the tip. This is going to replace my ’12 N7 because I was counting on Google to release a ’14 version and I like the form factor.

THANK YOU, KELLEX! I’ve been putting off getting a second tablet for the house but this makes it a no brainer. This tablet will be just for me. No more sharing or kiddy games.

This is not a great deal. I got my 16gb 2013 nexus 7 for $189 minus $25 at office depot last november.

    • Mark Stronge

      It’s not great, it’s amazing!

      • John Friend

Well. These people buying up this year old tablet need to be aware of things. The displays on these are well known for having multitouch and ghost touch issues. It usually can be solved by unlocking, rooting, and applying TS fix (search xda). But sometimes not. Asus will still service your tablet if it has been unlocked and rooted. So just make sure during your return period you check.

And also the app Nexus 7 display tester is not really accurate. It still shows my tablet as having errors even though its working just fine.

Theres a new Asus memo pad 7″ for $150.

Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this – 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go to tech tab for work detail

Haven’t gotten over the Meh feeling for the 2013… I’ll just wait till the Android L model drops.

Its Rakuten I buy from Them all the time.

    • JaizukeD

      this is the 2012 edition.

    • teddyspaghetti

This is *not* the 2013 nexus 7 model. So while it is LTE and for $129, the screen resolution is not as good and neither is the hardware.

  • ozo012

Folks there is a 32GB LTE as well http://www.ebay.com/itm/181399804146

  • monkeybutts

Can always get the two year warranty for cheap on ebay too $35

  • BlackMaGiC1o0

Damnit i dunno if i should pull the trigger or wait for a 32gb version. My screen just cracked a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know of a 32gb version?

      • ozo012

It is on Gizmodo’s deal pages today

      • BlackMaGiC1o0

Thanks was kind of looking for an LTE-less Nexus 7. 32gb tablet. Dont wanna spending anything over 180ish. But thats a great price if you’re looking for LTE. Thanks though i appreciate it.

Just bricked my old Asus TF201 yesterday messing with the bootloader. It was coming.

But, I am going to look at the samsung galaxy tab s instead of this.

    • Mark Stronge

      Please don’t.

  • Justin Kos

My mother is getting her first tablet because of your post letting me know of this great deal. I love droid-life

  • Michael Suriel

The screen to my N7 2013 cracked months ago for literally nothing. I’ve been waiting until the price of the replacement parts drops on Repairs Universe. It’s at $89 so I don’t know if I should just jump on this and skip the repair work.

  • Daniel Garcia

I still have a 2012 model. Would love to get a 2013 but I want a LTE version just hoping to find one on sale to pull the trigger.

    • Justin Kos

Same, just so I can have that free tablet t-mobile data. I know its not much.. but It would be nice to see their LTE coverage. I previously had a nexus 4 with T-mobile and had a kinda crappy experience.

If I didn’t already have this, at this price, I would not hesitate to buy it, even if it’s a year old. It’s a great tablet.

    • Jonathan Williams

I got this one and a G-Pad for my house and the 2012 version for my mom. She loves being able to play solitaire on a larger screen than her iPhone.
