Verizon HTC One Receives Update to Build 1.10.605.10 – Fixes Device Lock-ups, Updates Isis

htc one update

An update for Verizon’s HTC One was approved this morning as build 1.10.605.10. The update is minor and only improves device lock-ups while introducing an update to Isis Mobile Wallet. With approval and support docs happening today, we’d imagine that the update will rollout to Ones within the next couple of days.

The update is 33.8MB in size.

More info.

I cannot download Isis on my Verizon HTC one… has anyone been able to download it ??

  • Austin Harsh

Just got an HTC One today, did the update but Isis still isn’t ‘compatible’. Anyone else in the same boat?

    • dordonez21

same boat. I don’t get it. I thought this update was to be able to download ISIS

  • Rusty

Sorry no issues not “now” issues

  • Rusty

I have had mine for about three weeks now and now issues but today it did receive the update and is installing it as I type this.

  • david500

    Just installed the update

  • danny

Is anyone having WiFi issues with their HTC one.. ? Mine connects, its good for about 5 minutes and then it disconnects and connects back on its own, but when it reconnects, it doesn’t work.

  • D.B.Evans

Have never seen a lockup on my phone. Not even seeing Isis on it; so not sure how it can be “updated” (is that Verizon code for “Install without the customer knowing it’s new”?); and I’m not visually impaired … so not seeing an overwhelming need to accept this particular update. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

  • CHRIS42060

I was on the fence about this device, but now that they updated Isis I am definitely getting it tomorrow.

  • fauxshizzl

Didn’t they say something about updating the DNA by the end of the month? Last day….

  • fritzo2162

I honestly have not rebooted my phone in a month. Also, has anyone actually USED Isis?

  • Shadowstare

    Close but no Cigar

  • Daistaar

Does this update remove Isis? Is anyone still onboard outside of the 3 carriers?

  • Hunter

Has anyone been successful with using HTC sync manager on the verizon HTC One? I’m using a mac and have downloaded it and tried 5 different times. And also does google wallet NFC work on this phone?

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

New Wallet NFC doesn’t work. It isn’t enabled. Do you need sync manager? I haven’t needed it to transfer files, if that’s what you’re trying to do. Not sure about macs though

    • John

I only used HTC SM for transferring texts and contacts since I couldnt do it over bluetooth. After that I deleted it. I manage all files with Android File Transfer now. I was disappointed with HTC SM because when I linked up iphoto and itunes folders I couldnt delete pictures or songs without them being deleted from those programs. I had to search for the folder locations of all the photos and songs I deleted from each program.

  • What a tease. They couldn’t just put this with the update to 4.3?

  • Steve Ballmer

Just what I needed! I was wondering when Isis would be updated. /s

  • Eric R.

    I hate HTC.

      • Eric R.

They keep holding off updates for the Droid DNA. First they said by end of Summer. Then 4.3 by end of September. And now 4.2 by the end of the year.

        • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

You’re on Verizon, and you’re seeing HTC updated all other devices…. but you blame HTC? You should be used to this being on Verizon because it’s all in their hands.

          • Eric R.

Well then why does the One still have 4.1?

          • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

The Verizon One came out of the box with 4.2.2. The Unlocked and DEV versions are already getting 4.3 pushed out. The only reason US carriers aren’t updated, is because of US carriers. Not HTC.

          • Robert Boluyt

As a former Thunderbolt owner, I can attest that the T-Bolt left a poor taste in everyone’s mouth, but the One is an entirely different league. And US carriers are to blame for the delays with the One OTAs, given that they’ve updated the dev edition to 4.3, Intl Ones to 4.2.2, and the GPe to 4.3.

        • Gato Mafioso

Verizon ultimately controls updates. You can’t blame HTC for that.

          • Eric R.

I can so if the update isn’t ready for VZ to even test it.

        • umbrellacorp

That’s actually a pretty good reason.

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Haven’t noticed any lockups on my device. Which is a lot to say coming from older Sense UI. The phone has just been running pretty normal….fast as hell.

    • DaveTea

Same here. I have not had any issues at all. Great phone, very snappy, I just wish I had root on it. However…the stock ROM is pretty damn good.

  • steve30x

I didn’t know this device had lock up issues, I got it on day 1 at Verizon.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

      I haven’t noticed it either.

      • aQuickBit

BBB (Best Buy blue) checking in… Also no problems

        • El_Big_CHRIS

          i can confirm as well

  • Robert Boluyt

I may still be on 4.1.2, but at least I don’t have Isis on my One. 😀

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

LOL. Come on now. 4.2.2 takes the One to another level. And ISIS isn’t pre-installed….at least not on my phone

      • Robert Boluyt

At last word, AT&T/TMO One users will be going straight to 4.3. HTC missed their 30 September date though.

  • Derin Richardson

    LOL’d at “updates Isis.”

    • hfoster52

Yeah I was thinking it was the removal of it at first since I know no one using it.
