Video: iPad Mini vs. Kindle Fire HD vs. Nexus 7 – Will They Blend?

Being in the tech industry, it’s all about comparing device A to device B. That’s just how it is and there is no changing that. With that said, let’s make guacamole out of tablets! The folks over at BlendTec have put out a new video, pitting the iPad Mini against the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD. In the end, it’s always hard to choose a winner, but with this one, you really can’t tell the difference between the three.

Cheers Chris, K, Brian, Oswald, and Lana!

    I love my blendtec

  • Amenemhat1

i think some one just sold me a blender…

  • I wish that guy would stick his hand in there and see if it blends.

  • Grimlyte

    Ipad Mini…. YAY!.. lololol

people got nothing better else to do but do stupid videos. Spend almost $1500 and blend something thats not going to blend, for what? Let me make a vanilla shake “oops” I dropped my iPad, nexus 7, kindle in the blender.

    • You know this is a company right? They paid for them right? Which means they can do with they want right?

  • To the people who abhor this, saying “they could’ve spent that money on infant care and education!” That $1000 is a lot less than whats spent on most commercials, advertising a blender. What’s more, do you pass this judgment on any other advertisements/ entertainment? “$300 million for a movie! That could feed Africa!”

    • you forgot, you would have to bend your tablet in half before it would fit in your blender

  • Wyveryx

Rofl…. “Apple Smoke. Don’t breathe this.”

  • master94

I want one of those blenders . Notice how the icrap broke the fastest.

    • George264

Well, all hate aside, either he broke the iPad mini differently or that glass held up really long.

  • Al

    That actually hurt

  • These just make me sad, drop tests too. That’s about $700 worth of technology that could have been used for actual good (donated to a school for instance) but instead was used for a little over two minutes of entertainment.

    • JetBlue

Have to do what you have to do to promote something.

  • Jeeves

What is the point of these stupid tests????

  • Luxferro

This is the most retarded test. They should be using real world situations. Like drop it down some steps. Sit on it, ect.

    • EndiSky

that wouldn’t sell blenders… this is from a BLENDER COMPANY

  • Capt. Crunch

Notice how he only said not to breathe the apple smoke.

Apple devices are made with highly toxic materials, and so are the batteries.
The US government won’t touch apple products because they don’t meet the green criteria for devices as part of a mandated list on electronics. The batteries can’t even be recycled and are made with something very toxic and you are NOT suppose to touch or breathe in if it is cracked. Nor are you suppose to touch the inside of an apple device for the same hazardous materials it’s built with.

      • niuguy

I don’t think they are more toxic. You just can’t separate the components for proper recycling.

  • Josh

    I don’t know why, but I can’t stop crying!

    • Lucky Armpit

It’s hilarious and horrifying at the same time. The worst part to me was when he smashed/bent the tablets on the edge of the blender. Sigh.

  • Stevaroo01

Such a shame to see arguably the best three small tablets on the market get slaughtered that way!! But, I watched anyway. Always a shame to watch, but I always watch anyway.

    • George264

Well, the KF HD is kinda crappy, but seeing the Nexus 7 and iPad mini get crushed and folded makes me wanna cry.

  • Ibrick

Over/Under on how long it takes this guy to get lung cancer?

    • Jeff Ayers

yeah i think he is the only loser in these videos

  • Nick S

One of my favorite moments from Jim Carrey in Mr. Popper’s Penguins – he gets fed up with work bothering him while he is bonding with his new pets and puts his phone in a blender. In the movie, there was a satisfying flash/pop as the battery exploded.

  • slider112

These videos make me absolutely cringe… and yet I watch them each and every blessed time.

  • T4rd

I dunno why, but I love the 70s intro music.

Also, I want to see him blend a BlendTec Blender! =O

    • raoul duke

      mind blown!
thats like shredding the instruction manual to the shredder.

      • michael arazan

        Talk about 1st world problems

    • La2da

  • Bigwavedave25

Completely pointless! Love it, made me laugh. Just like a tablet, however I still want one…

  • SchwannyT

See put them in a blender and there all the same… why can’t they all just get along? 😉

  • This guy has issues

  • adam

Random question but I have a Droid Razr and I have NBA Gametime app, and in that app I purchased NBA League Pass. If I bought a Nexus 7, I know I would be able to get all the apps from my Google account on it, but would I be able to watch NBA League Pass on the Nexus 7? Thanks.

only if you blend it first
