Nexus 7 32GB Lands on Office Depot Website for $250

This morning, a reader noticed that Office Depot has the 32GB Nexus 7 listed on their site and available for purchase. The price is set at $250 plus three day shipping, same as the 16GB. Interestingly enough, they still have the 16GB model for sale as well for the same price, so if you go to buy one, make sure you’re selecting the correct option.

We’re more than likely to see the announcement of the 32GB variant from Google at their Android event next week in NYC. Until then, go get it while you still can.

Cheers Tim!

Does anyone knows if they provide shipping in US? And their rate?

  • Chris Wilkey

Picked up a 32GB at Office Depot this morning, Kirkwood, MO location. They had three. It’s awesome and I loves it!

    • Kevin Olson

Anything different about it than the 16gb, other than the storage? Did it come with 4.2 installed?

      • Chris Wilkey

Nothing different except storage, it actually came with 4.1.1 but I just go the prompt for 4.1.2. I don’t imagine 4.2 will be available until Monday.

        • Mike

I’m really hoping they still make 4.2 available on Monday, but I doubt it

          • Chris Wilkey

            Yeah, definitely doubtful now

    • Mike

I just did the same in Illinois. The store had 3 as well.

  • Kam Francois-Ashbrook

    Mine just shipped this morning.

  • LuckyMe

I also managed to get one at the local Office Depot before they found out they weren’t supposed to sell them until Monday!

  • tfadams

Item 769156, ASUS Googletm Nexus 7 Tablet 32GB, is not available for purchase at this time.

No option to add to cart…

  • Mine was just delivered! I will post pics if you guys want! Office Depot is sure to get in trouble for this, lol. Hopefully not, though.

    • Kevin Olson

Did it come with 4.2 pre installed?

  • gonecks1

I ordered one a couple of days ago and its on the truck out for delivery today!

    • Kevin Olson

      Lucky 🙂

  • I had to send mine(16GB) back to Newegg for screen lift and it was out of stock so they gave me a refund last week. Just in time to buy this one.

  • jfr69

I JUSt went to the site & get this now:
Item 769156, ASUS Googletm Nexus 7 Tablet 32GB, is not available for purchase at this time.

  • nightscout13

That must mean the 16GB will replace the 8GB at $200?

  • mmoreimi

    ok……can i get a free trade-in for my 16GB Nexus 7 that I bought from Office Depot?
16GB kind of sucks….8GB is ridiculous and shouldn’t be sold.

  • p0k3y

Put in a microSD slot and rear camera and this thing will be unstoppable. Until then, I still prefer my Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus.

  • Mc Lovin

I was just able to walk out of Office Max with one. PIcs coming asap!!! hells yeah

    • Kevin Olson

Awesome, I’m headed to my local office max in a few. Did you pay $249?

      • Kevin Olson

No go… but my staples had them in stock but couldnt sell me one!!!

  • Josh Flowers

next up on Google’s release list, the 64GB Nexus 7, dubbed “N64”
    and there was much rejoicing

    • napes22

I can’t wait for them to release an awkwardly shaped controller to go with it.

  • Vash

To you guys who have ordered via office depot online…people on chat keep telling me its for in store pickup only. I don’t want to complete the transaction online only for some fiasco to happen.

    • Jon

Just completed the transaction, with a confirmation email, stating delivery on Monday the 29th.

      • Vash

That gives me hope. I guess I might go with it.

  • Eric Soriano

Waiting to hear about the Nexus 10.

  • larry page

i’ll just wait on the 64g Nexus7v2 . I mean at this rate it should be here in about four months.

  • Anyone think the people will be trying to dump their 8GB version? Would love to pick one up for my son

    • Paul

There will at least be some dumped for the Nexus 10. You might be able to get a good deal on craigslist.

    • nhizzat

A lot of people will be selling their 8/16GB versions. I’m considering selling mine but I think I’ll give it to my parents instead and buy a 32GB version for myself.

  • asdfasd

32GB or 64GB so what? Cannot watch HD movies on it because it does not support > 4GB video file. Split the movie in half is ridiculous

    • Ryuuie

Or, you know, you could convert the video file to a smaller size.

Why the hell do you need 4GB video files? What? Are you downloading the wrong torrent? :V

    • brando56894

I’m assuming the filesystem is FAT32 by default huh?

  • I just ordered it with an expected delivery date of tomorrow!!

  • Swould333

All the in store options near me say “Out of Stock”… Went by my local Staples and talked to the tech manager he confirmed they actually have the 32GB models in store.. but they received a cease and desist email from Google/Asus to not release them for sale till the 29th… and he confirmed the SKU pricing in their system is slated to be $249.99, same as the 16gb….. He’s holding one specifically for me, good luck… 🙂

  • I just ordered it with an expected delivery date of tomorrow!! We shall see if it really gets delivered tomorrow.

  • mike

I can get it with my business account for $247 /flex

    • Ryuuie

Pssh. I can get it for $214 from a friend’s store discount.

      Do I win? 😛

  • EvanTheGamer

Anyone know if anyone would buy a used(but looks brand new) N7 16GB for $150 on Craigslist?

    • KleenDroid

I bet someone would easily pay $75

    • JoshGroff

      150 is low. o-o

      • EvanTheGamer

You can have it for $249.99 and not a penny more!

        • JoshGroff

    • TheDrunkenClam

      I’ll buy it for 75

  • Tyler Casilio

So many numbers. Can’t keep track. of. what one. is which. 4+(7+10)=SamsuLG, Its messing with my (htc)DNA

  • Alex Goodwin

I am returning my 16GB to WalMart STAT!

    • napes22

      Can you actually do that?

  • batman

    still avialiable for me

  • hfoster52

Out of Stock…. I must have been too late. 😉

    • EvanTheGamer

      No it isn’t.

  • youdontknow

    Really thinking about it.

  • batman

only available for in store pick up and no stores seem to have it

  • duke69111

It won’t let me buy it as it is not in stock at a store near me. Must not be available everywhere yet. There was no option for 3 day shipping. ”

I had this error and I changed the setting in top right hand corner from pick up to delivery and it let me add to cart and complete transaction.

  • fakekellex

WHat do you think it will cost with 3g? $289?

    • Kindroid

  • mustbepbs

It’s tough being an early adopter.

    • JoshGroff

We did get $35 for being an early adopter between the gplay credit and wallet.

      • mustbepbs

That’s true. I already got a $10 credit for GWallet when I got my Gnex, and I got another $10 when I got my N7. The $25 credit on Google Play was pretty awesome. I take back my comment.

        • TheDrunkenClam

shoot how do i get my 25 bones?

          • nhizzat

            That promo ended Sept 30th.

          • EvanTheGamer

Think it was a limited time only offer. That was back two months ago. Don’t think that offer is still up for grabs.

      • nhizzat

        Subtract tax and shipping.

        • JoshGroff

I bought mine at Staples on week 1, so no shipping.

          • EvanTheGamer

Bought mine at GameStop on day 1. Hey, just sayin’. lol

          • Mack

            Same, Staples week one.

    • EvanTheGamer

Indeed it is…but sometimes being an adopter is totally worth it!

Being an early adopter of the N7 16GB was totally worth it!

  • bob

I know what all the ipad 3 owners feel right now =(

    • mustbepbs

At least the 32GB option is just that and not a significant processor bump. We should be thankful.

      • JDHokie

That’s what is keeping me calm. The extra storage space would be nice, but it’s not a deal breaker or enough for me to get worked up over.

        • JoshGroff

Same, 16GB is easy to deal with if you only have apps/games on it.

          • nhizzat

That is until you get under 3GB of free space. I’ve done that numerous times with just apps and games installed. This wouldn’t be an issue if the 16GB didn’t lag to a grind and become unusable.

        • Captain_Doug

Worse comes to worse you could sell it for a slight loss…

          • JoshGroff

A 16GB flash drive and an OTG cable is less of a loss. If expanding was really that important, I’d go that route instead.

          • Captain_Doug

Not exactly streamline though… what’s with it to you≠what’s worth it to me.

          • michael arazan

I’m so glad I held off buying ther N7 now, i’ve been looking everywhere for the 8gb but they are sold out with no restocking either, now i can get on with more storage for same price. Just in time for my parents birthdays.

    • fakekellex

Im an ipad 3 owner and I’m great. I don’t game on it though, so having the faster processor doesn’t both me at all.

    • Mine was just delivered! I will post pics if you guys want! Office Depot is sure to get in trouble for this, lol. Hopefully not, though.
