Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Coming to AT&T November 9 for $299, Pre-orders Start October 25

AT&T just announced that they will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on November 9. If you want to give them money early to reserve one, you can pre-order on October 25 (Thursday). The price of the device is $299 on 2-year contract, a price we are expecting to see from every carrier.

The two remaining carriers that have yet to announce a date are T-Mobile and Verizon, but T-Mobile will likely drop word any day now. In fact, they have been dropping hints on Twitter over the last couple of days. With Verizon, it’s tough to tell, however, it doesn’t make sense for them to sit back and let the rest of the industry inform their customers. We’ll hopefully know it all by the time Samsung wraps up their big NYC party tomorrow night.

don’t see n7105 which is critical for 4g LTE the n7100 just won’t do

  • Damon Aldora

I have already put my order in for the Galaxy Note 2 in white. I’m sticking
with T-Mobile since they are the only one with an unlimited plan as useable
internet speeds. In most cases, the 4G on my current phone than the LTE phone
that one of my DISH coworkers has. We use the DISH Remote Access app on our
phones to stream live and recorded shows through the Sling Adapter that we have
on our home receivers. With how much his phone buffers, it hardly seems worth
paying extra for LTE. It will be nice being able to stream as much as I want
    without hitting a cap.

I bought my Note 2 from Tmobile yesterday, 10/24

  • Bardock72

Where is the coverage of the launch party?! Online journalists have been posting about this for a month and now NOTHING. WTH?!

The bummer is you can’t get WHITE initially they say in a couple of more weeks. I was going to get White but I think it will show too much dirt!

  • chris125

Well they did do that with the sgs3 so wouldnt surprise me with verizon

  • yarrellray

T-mobile will be releasing it’s Galaxy Note 2 October 24th after the Samsung event in New York City. Value customers will be charged 299 while Classic plan customers will be charges 419 after 50 dollar rebate. Tmobile was first to have the Galaxy S3 in stores this summer June 21st and will be the first to have the Galaxy Note 2 in store for purchase on Wednesday. Either way tmobile is the spot for this monster you need that unlimited data for this baby not some shared data plan…

    • chris125

Well unlimited data doesn’t do anything if they have no coverage. Sorry dick but tmo coverage is just lacking in to many areas for as much as I travel. Id rather pay full price and have unlimited lte with verizon than spotty at best tmo coverage.

Verizon first class idiots. Release the pre order date and stop messing around

  • Ron_Swanson

So Nov. 9th for Verizon too I bet….didnt they release the S3 on the same day as AT&T as well?

The phone is so big, when you order it, it gets sent by freight shipping.

Don’t quit your day job (if you have one).

  • jldleo

I am going to buy at full retail.. i just have to. This phone is THE phone of phones.

I, too, can’t afford to surrender my unlimited data – and fast Verizon 4G speeds – for the new Nexus which isn’t likely to land on Big Red. Will a solid launcher like Nova get rid of TouchWiz on the Galaxy Note, including all the stuff in the notification pull down? I want full control like I have with my Galaxy Nexus.

    • C-Law

No. Launchers only replace the launcher so basically the home screens, dock, and drawer. Your notification bar will be touchwiz still, along with everything else like phone, txt app, etc..

      • Art

        Thanks. That’s what I suspected.

  • Ty Jones

I am happy about the slight delay. You can read some reviews from regular users on other carriers. I bought the Galaxy Nexus first day and regretted it ever since. It had a crappy radio causing poor voice and data connections. It was mentioned immediately in many users reviews. This will force me to wait another 2 weeks.

Agree I went through 4 Gnex and they all had the one way muting issue.

    • http://twitter.com/fritzo2162 DougZ

I thought they fixed those issues almost immediately?

  • Visual360

Finally! I’ve been waiting for this.

I hope Verizon drops info soon as I just returned my Galaxy S3 and currently using Droid2. Wow how I appreciate a larger display!!!!

    • Paul

I’m sure they will announce it before it’s available for any other retailer. Which would mean by Thursday.

    • hfoster52

I bet you feel like you are squinting… :)

I have you beat.. I broke the display on my GNex last night and I had to go back to my OG Droid until I can get my Note 2.. I miss my GNex already

      • Bob

I have you beat. I’m using an iPhone 43 with an even tinier screen than my OG Droid. Can’t wait for the Note II! ;)

        TRY A BLACKBERRY BOLD 9700

      • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1676447393 Michael Woods

nice! my 3year daughter carries around the OG Droid rooted – ROM’d and noticed that I had the Droid2 and asked if she could have that one too! No crap!!!

        • http://www.facebook.com/people/Nick-Bell/750747288 Nick Bell

What ROM did you put on there? I havnt turned my OG on in over a year and I dont know what decent ROMs are anymore..

  • Paul

Pre-orders starting the day that you can buy it at Sprint? Smart, that way if someone wants it, they’ll find it on AT&T’s site.

  • Jason Jackson

Let’s pray Verizon gets this phone

    • me

Verizon starts pre orders on the 25th. I got the email today.

  • r0lct

Maybe Verizon is trying to figure out how to advertise their bloat to sell it for $350?

    • michael arazan

Verizon is probably just figuring out how much to charge their customers for the commercials they make on our monthly bills somehow. Besides they always have great communication, for when my bill is due.

  • steve30x

I wonder how much this sucker will cost full retail?? Any ideas..im guessing 599.00.

    • http://www.facebook.com/cindy.leavell.3 Cindy Leavell

      I know sprints is 650.00

      • steve30x

OUCH.. more than likely Verizon will sell it at that same price then..probably around 680.00 after taxes..well there goes my Xmas bonus lol.

        • Jackson

damn I forgot I get one of those too lol hmm makes life way more exciting lol

    • Jackson

699 saw it on the T-Mobile link I’ll post it hold on

    • Jackson

Here is the link for T-Mobile pricing God that took too long to find http://www.tmonews.com/2012/10/rumor-samsung-galaxy-note-ii-pricing-revealed-in-new-image/

      • steve30x

Well im not suprised..Carriers are making it tough and these new phones are just getting more and more expensive to the point to where you have to get it on contract almost.

        • Jackson

Just so everyone knows if tell them you want to buy it out right if you’re verizon at least you can put $400 on account and pay it over time like $40 bucks a month or so they won’t tell you that but you can.

    • chris125

Most likely $650 that is what they sell their top of the line phones at off contract. Wish these prices would come down especially when other carriers are cheaper full price.

  • Turbine Tech

I want to drop Verizon for an MVNO so bad, but living and working in BFE Northwest doesn’t leave a lot of options.

Using this phone on arguably Americas best network just kind of seals the deal for me. Cannot wait! I will be buying full retail though, not giving up unlimited to get suckered into another 2 year contract.

    Month to month FTW!

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_55HM4HRDP3XD7KYFRLDH7OKGOY Michael

Since when has Verizon been sensible when it come to servicing their customers?

    • Jackson

Never but we can always hope

    • Thomas

Exactly. They were the last to say anthing regarding the S3 so this is just par for the coarse.
