Halfbrick Studio’s Jetpack Joyride Blasts onto Google Play

It has been a month since Jetpack Joyride was finally released onto Android through the Amazon Appstore. This morning, you can pick up this awesome game straight from Google Play, which will surely push some people into trying it out. Plus, we can expect a better updating process by downloading it from here instead of Amazon.

My only issue is that I’ll have to re-earn all of my jetpacks. Lame. Go grab it and enjoy.

While people have been waiting for Jetpack Joyride to land on the Google Play Store ’cause they are too stubborn to download it on the A-OK Amazon Appstore, I’ve been enjoying the hell out of the game this entire time. So…just sayin’.

Or been updated at a reasonable pace.

This is very true. But you see…if there’s a game that gets released to the Amazon Appstore first, I wouldn’t want to wait, gotta download it!

You are “EvanTheGamer”, so you are simply living up to your name, I suppose.

Does anybody know if purchasing the counterfeit machine is anything like the amazon version? I purchased it and loved it. Than I flashed a new ROM on my phone not even thinking about backing up that game+data and when I went to redownload the game I lost the counterfeit machine and had to purchase it again. So basically amazon only allowed the counterfeit machine on only 1device. Anybody know if this is still the case?

I’m glad I waited. My first posted tip to D-L!

Good thing I didn’t have time to play it yet, I don’t have to worry about save data. ^-^

Good! I uninstall all amazon apps including the app store because they kept freezing up. This was the one game I missed, & I’m glad its in the play store.

What i did was install the play version and then delete the amazon version. Played 1 game and I got the things i bought back and my coins. only thing i lost were the missions i did.

thank god. one less amazon (maybe the only amazon) app on my phone. good riddance.

Damn, seems like the Play Store is exploding with new premium games just in the last couple days. I don’t need anymore games, it’s the largest folder on any of my home screens by far (it’s basically its own app drawer, lol).

Same, they’re taking up a page and a half on my Nexus 7. >.<

The version in the Amazon app store is 1.3.6, where as this play store version is 1.3.5. If they were the same, I think you would be able to restore your data with TiBu (backup amazon, uninstall, install play store, restore data only)

Nope. Different package name. Version don’t matter.

I do wish there was a way to move my Amazon saved games to the Play Store version. Oh well I guess I get to start again.
