Here is the Nexus Q

And there is the Nexus Q which looks like some sort of swanky media ball. This should be interesting to see.

Cheers Ryan!

Why does this look like the sentinels from the matrix?

I like the fact that he said its hackable. Can’t wait until developers get apps like Spotify, Subsonic, or Plex to work with it.

It would be nice if this could integrate with an already established set of AirPort Expresses…

yea $299 come on. would like to have it but probably not getting it. tooooooo much

$300 is too much unless it does something really amazing. I am not even sure what it does, is it a Google TV? The video on the site just talks about music playing and anyone on my wifi being able to change the play list. Neat sure but not sure I’d use it….maybe some bar could do something with that….

It’s Marvin! We can all own our own Marvins now!

With your $300 Nexus Q, you can get $49 audio cables and $400 bookshelf speakers. Stream from your 16GB Nexus 7 and you’re $1K in.

For $299 this is a joke.

I’ll keep my Roku, Apple TV, or other reasonably priced device.
