Angry Birds Space to be Made Available for Android March 22

Next week on March 22, everyone who has been waiting patiently to get their hands on the new Angry Birds Space will be able to head into the Play Store and pick it up. It may just be another Angry Birds game, but this next version definitely looks to revamp the series. We know there are plenty of haters, but is anyone here excited for the release?

Cheers AngryBirdsFan!

Yes! Tomorrow can’t get here fast enough. Been counting the days. Looking forward to playing.

Meh, it will be here when it gets here… Beause within two weeks of release the most eager will be on the withdrawl from already completing it, kinda like their dates; the anticipation, the building up, and the actual act lasts less that 20 seconds (if that long) ….

I just want the damn eagle

  • Darthseph23

I think the gravity affect is a really cool concept.  I’m sure I’ll wind up fooling around with it jsut to check that out.

And hey, this time its space… which is awesome in and of itself.

  • Buzzy42

Hrrm, isn’t that a when the Amazon app store launched (the true birthday, not the run-up birthday) with Angry Birds as its first free app of the day? I wonder if they’ll repeat that…

  • EvanTheGamer

Yes, excited….but we already knew that Angry Birds Space will be released on March 22. lol

I, for one, am not afraid to stand up and say “I CAN’T WAIT FOR THIS [GAME]”.  Even though my brother is the physicist in the family, I love physics games and they’ve literally and figuratively gone above and beyond with the physics in this one.  It looks just as addicting as all of the others, if not even more so.  I would love to see a game like this where Thor throws his hammer from asgard and has to hit a target somewhere in the nine realms.  Then, it would truly be perfection.

this should look great on my transformer! cant wait

  • possomcrast1

This looks fun but the original angry birds got boring incredibly fast

  • I can admit, as a grown adult, I am pretty excited to try this out!

    • EvanTheGamer

Age doesn’t factor in…not at all. You could be 80 and still play Angry Birds Space while relaxing at a retirement home for the criminally insane.

I can never hate on a franchise that got me so hooked for so long.  Sure, I haven’t played Angry Birds in a while, but I’m definitely going to check them out in space.

  • Fattie McDoogles

It looks interesting. I wasn’t excited at first because I thought it was going to be just another version of the same thing. But this looks great. A lot more strategy involved and a pretty cool concept.

Looks like I’m going to have no life again trying to complete every level -_- why Rovio…Why must you  torture me with endless levels of difficulty?!

As soon as I’m done with finals perfect.

Angry birds was old in 2010.

    • T4rd

       And now it’s new in 2012 ;-).

  • John Jenness

By the looks of it they managed to create a new way to play Angry Birds without abandoning the original game style. Impressive and well done.

  • Beka

Meh.  I’m not a hater, just ready for something new, I guess…

  • moelsen8

i really hate myself for saying this, but i’m kind of anxious to check this out.  it looks pretty radical and fresh for the series.

    • hkklife

This does look awesome. I just hope it’s available for sale in the Android/Play Store and not Amazon App Store (like the other installments)

      • Noyfb

I hope they have a .99 paid version, so we don’t have to have annoying ads, like the amazon store has.
