My laptop or phones webcam, being able to see wifey during our months apart is pretty sharp.

  • I have to say that I am most thankful for my laptop.  If it weren’t for this I would not have been able to go back to school for a second bachelor’s degree.  I am currently in the middle of earning an Accounting Degree online and the mobility of my laptop has made this a possibility.  I purchased it when I first started courses and it has been invaluable when I have been on vacation or at work when I have had to check in or submit an assignment.  This laptop is going to be the reason for my next career and hopefully a more comfortable life for my family.

  • Tony8

My favorite piece of technology has got to be my bank card, I hate carrying cash around with me.

  • DLfan

I am most thankful for my DVR. No more being tied to TV schedules, dealing with commercials. or having to choose between sporting events or fights. Now I can watch EVERYTHING I want to watch 🙂

  • I am most thankful for the Processor…most excellent piece of technology…

  • I am most thankful for Android because it brought in the much needed competition (and hence innovation) in the mobile market that had been stagnant till 2008.

  • Ncimagepro

Most thankful for my first portable computer, a Kaypro 10 that came with a 10 megabyte internal hard drive and a single DS/DD floppy drive and a green 9 inch CRT. The thing was the size of a suitcase, but in 1984 I was the only kid I knew with a portable computer. I would never have imagined that we would be at the point we are now with mobile computing while lugging a 15 pound steel encased machine to grandma’s house for the weekend.

  • Aaron Halbert

I’m most thankful for my Samsung Vibrant, it keeps me connected on the go and lets me do things I wouldn’t have thought possible 4 years ago. Now here’s hoping I get an android device with a bigger screen!

I”m most thankful for my netbook. If it weren’t for netbooks, I don’t think I could afford a computer, and I’d never waste hours reading all the comments on Droid-life…wait, is that a good thing? yes it is!

  • I’m most thankful for the internet. It has proved to be a vital tool for communication and information. We can learn about things happening across the globe in an instant, and can talk to people we may not have had the chance to meet in any other way before. It is possible to have real time chats with people face to face who live hundreds of miles away. We can keep in touch with long lost friends. We can share our experiences in new ways. It has even changed our humor! Where would we be without internet memes?! 🙂

  • Sabino Gonzalez03

I am most thankful for my Motorola Droid. It is still running great after 2 years. Never been rooted, never used screen protectors or phone covers, and despite a few drops, it hasn’t gotten a scratch on it. I’ve even been asked “Did you get a new phone?” a few times by my friends. That’s how you know you’ve got a great phone.

  • Rob

Of course I’m most thankful for my Android phone – Over the past few years, the mobile phone has grown from simply a phone that goes anywhere you do (still an underrated feature) to an instant messaging center, webcam, mp3 player, computer, netflix streaming device, weatherman, newspaper, game console, GPS, calculator, address book, wallet, alarm clock, calendar…the list goes on. I can go through my apps and continue. Should I continue? Nah, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

  • Carlos

If there’s any piece of technology I am most thankful for, I would say it’s the mobile phone. Regardless if it’s the latest smartphone model or your grandma’s mobile phone from the Triassic era, its technology has enabled anyone from anywhere to communicate with their loved ones at any time. Unfortunately, it has also enabled the wives from everywhere to constantly nag their husband 😀

  • Rashon Gordon

I am thankful for the Skype.  It helps me stay in contact with my family when I am deployed or away on missions.  Being in the Army, I don’t always get to be home for all the important things that happen with my wife and kids.  Thanks to video chatting, my family can tell me about their days face to face.
