Samsung is sending a surprise update with 3 new features to the Galaxy S26 series. As long as you are in the One UI 9 beta, you’ll see the new features, all of which are from the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold 8 Ultra.
The new features included My FanCam, Now Brief, and Now Nudge. While Now Brief isn’t necessarily new to the S26 series, Samsung is attempting to bring more useful information into it, that is more customizable. My FanCam is an AI-powered capture mode, while Now Nudge will try and bring your phone more contextual suggestions through everyday tasks.
Here’s the list from Samsung:
- My FanCam: Makes it easier to capture and share standout moments, using AI to keep a selected person in focus and automatically reframe footage into different aspect ratios for social platforms.
- Now Brief: Builds on the personalized experience by bringing useful information and recommendations together in customizable cards tailored to users’ routines, interests and daily needs, while also surfacing security and privacy insights that highlight potential risks and recommended protective actions.
- Now Nudge: Enhanced to deliver smarter, more contextual suggestions that help users better navigate everyday tasks and interactions.
Again, these new features are rolling out starting today through the One UI 9 Beta (Android 17) on the Galaxy S26 series.
