At last year’s Google I/O, JBL announced a soundbar called the JBL Link View that had both Google Assistant and Android TV built-in. It sounded like the perfect home theater product for those looking to add Google smarts to the biggest screen in their home. It was supposed to launch in the fall and then never did. It then missed the holiday shopping season too. Today, JBL further delayed it until this spring.

We aren’t sure why the delays, but it’s probably a product to continue keeping an eye on. It features Assistant and Android TV, as I just mentioned, but also has Chromecast, multiple HDMI ports and a one-cable connection to a TV. JBL does audio, so it should sound pretty good too.

Again, JBL is now targeting this spring and it’ll still cost $399. There will be an optional subwoofer you can add-on for another $299.
