Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Confirmed for Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10, and GPE Devices in Coming Weeks

The new Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 from Google will of course feature Android 5.0 Lollipop, but anyone who still rocks any other Nexus device has been holding their breath, waiting to see if Google planned to shower them with updates as well.

Today, good news comes for owners of the Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, and any Google Play Edition device. Android 5.0 is confirmed for you in the coming weeks. 

Now, keep in mind, it does state below that the updates will be “in the coming weeks.” This means you should not start bashing the Check for Update button quite yet, as a mass rollout will be quite evident and we will inform you of when it is live for each device.

Android 5.0 Lollipop, which comes on Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player, will also be available on Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 and Google Play edition devices in the coming weeks.
