Gameloft Teases Their First Android Game Built With Unreal Game Engine

In the video game world, the Unreal Engine is one of the most widely used and popular game engines ever produced. It has powered many games that you have no doubt played: Bioshock, Gears of War 1-3, Mass Effect 1-3 and pretty much any Tom Clancy game that you can think of. It’s an extremely versatile and powerful engine that has gone through many iterations, and they are using that power behind their newest game.

Gameloft posted the picture above to their Facebook page with the teaser “The story of Gameloft’s 1st Unreal Game will soon be revealed, the hint is hidden in the artwork above, can you find it?” You can then vote to unlock the teaser trailer on Youtube or the whole piece of artwork on their Facebook page. The emblem on the sword brings no games to mind so it remains to be seen if this is a game series that already exists. Can you find the clue? Let us know in the comments if you figure it out.

N.O.V.A. 3 is Now Available on Android

N.O.V.A. 3, the newest member to Gameloft’s increasingly popular first person shooter series, is available now on Android. With some of the more stunning graphics we have seen in a mobile game to date (at least in previews), this looks like another winner for one of mobile gaming’s biggest players. The game itself runs $6.99, but before you attempt to buy, make sure that your device is compatible. I can tell you now that my Tegra 3-powered HTC One X has been left off of the list, yet devices like the Galaxy Nexus and DROID RAZR made the cut.  (more…)

YouTube Preview Image

A trailer has just been released for the upcoming N.O.V.A. 3 title that is set to be released by Gameloft. We have been a fan of the N.O.V.A. series of games, so it’s exciting to know that a new one is just around the corner, especially now that mobile gaming technology has become stronger than ever. Unfortunately, the trailer is merely a tease and we don’t get to see any actual gameplay or even a launch date. A simple “coming soon” just isn’t good enough for us anymore.
