Video: Samsung Galaxy Camera 2 Hands-on [CES 2014]

A couple of weeks before CES, Samsung announced the next rendition of the Galaxy Camera, the Galaxy Camera 2. The device features the same 16.3 megapixel sensor with OIS as the original did, except Samsung was able to slim up the body, and also speed up the camera’s performance. The Galaxy Camera 2 runs Android 4.3, as well as a revamped version of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, which was designed specifically for this device.  (more…)

Samsung Announces Galaxy Camera 2 – 16.3MP Camera Sensor, Quad-core Processor, 4.8″ Display, and Android 4.3

Samsung announced the sequel to last year’s Galaxy Camera this morning, the Galaxy Camera 2, not even waiting for next week’s CES to go down first. While it doesn’t matter when exactly they announce it, now we can at least be certain that the device will be on display in Las Vegas, and we will have a chance to play with the newest Android-powered shooter. For being a sequel, it appears that Samsung didn’t add in too many new bells and whistles, but the device should be an better experience overall than the 2013 model.  (more…)
