The NBA released its official application for the upcoming All-Star game in New York City to Google Play this week, allowing basketball fans everywhere to get in on the celebrations. Not only is the app good for attendees of the game, with public transit mapping to each of the events, but those of you at home can enjoy breaking news and alerts from the venues.

If you are attending the game, you can gain access to real-time location-aware notifications, as well as view arena maps and seating charts, making sure you never have to ask an usher where your seat is. In addition, you can access rapid replays of all the great plays which are bound to take place.

The app is completely free to download and use, so go check it out.

If you are a Lillard fan, however, you should probably skip this app.
