Verizon HTC One Remix Available Beginning Tomorrow, $99.99 On-contract

Verizon announced official availability and pricing this morning for the One Remix from HTC, what is essentially known as the One Mini 2 everywhere else. The device goes on sale tomorrow, July 24, priced at $99 on a two-year agreement, as well as through the Verizon Edge program if you have approved credit.

The One Remix from HTC features a 4.5″ HD display, 13MP rear-facing shooter, Snapdragon quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD slot, and will run Android 4.4.2 with Sense 6 on top.

Does this phone interest you? For $99 you can grab the G3 on contract, so choosing the One Remix on a two year agreement would make little sense if you were comparing the two. Maybe you like the look of the One Remix more?

Is this remix by Tiesto or Diplo?

Where does HTC find these cameras on the bargain bin of leftover parts no one else wants. Don’t get me wrong I really like my old trusty M7 but the camera flat out sucks. The Galaxy Nexus I gave up to get the M7 had a better camera. I had gotten use to not carrying my old point and shoot camera when I had the Nexus but since getting the M7 I am back to carrying it again. I sure hope the next “flagship” phone from HTC does some drastic improvements in the camera department.

that verizon logo is not big enough. no buy

Shouldn’t the phone be $50 then until the 27th because of Verizon’s half off promo?

Start working at home with Google! It’s by-far the best job I’ve had. Last Wednesday I got a brand new BMW since getting a check for $6474 this – 4 weeks past. I began this 8-months ago and immediately was bringing home at least $77 per hour. I work through this link, go? to tech tab for work detail

A whole lot of who cares.

Hmmm…$99 for a nerfed M8 or an LG G3? Touch choice.

    • BoFiS

depends how big your hands are 😉

  • BoFiS

Great choice for those who don’t actually want a HUGE phone…though why is this not part of the 50% off promo?

That Verizon messaging app in the spot of the normal SMS app drives me crazy. It’s prretty obvious using a device in stores that they want the average consumer to use their product thinking it’s the regular messaging app….same goes for At&t and their “Contacts” app. That stuff just drives me crazy…

ANyway. not sure why this phone is the same price as it’s big brother on contract. Doesn’t make much sense. Even the G3 is the same price.

  • at least it’s camera should be better than the regular M8

    • T4rd
      • ah, well there goes that. Good example of “megapixels aren’t everything” I suppose. Neither camera appears to be great though.

        • T4rd

I’m actually pretty pleased with the camera on my M8. It’s definitely not the best, but I find it to be more than adequate in all of my use so far.

          • yeah, that’s what I keep hearing from one of my friends that has the M8; it gets the job done. I just meant that in comparison to the G3, iPhone, and S5 it isn’t “top tier”

Each phone has its advantages though.

    Another garbage phone by HTC..

  • Bryan Mills

    Yeah, good joke HTC

Uuh, $100 is the same as the One M8. Unless you absolutely need the smaller size, why on earth would anyone choose this? Should be free on contract with these specs (1GB ram the real killer).

This is perfect for my girl, I’d been waiting for it to finally drop but almost just got her the M8. She would’ve accepted it fine but the Remix is better suited for her because she’s the most non techy person and the form factor will be better for her than the M8 or G3. And I will say give it to us free if you want to take away her U. Data plan and get the 6gb plan for her, which is 3x more than she’s ever used.

    • BoFiS

You realize that they’re still running the 50% off promo so it’s more like $50

. even though Thelma `s storry is really great, I just bought a great new
Lotus Carlton after earning $7423 recently and-a little over, $10 thousand
lass month . without a question it is the nicest work I’ve ever had . I
started this 7-months ago and pretty much immediately began to bring in at
least $85… per hour . this website

My first impression is HTC must have put that huge black bar at the bottom because Verizon needed a big space to slap a jumbo logo onto the front of the phone.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Seems as though for their flagships HTC doesn’t allow the branding down there, only for there lower tier devices.

      • LionStone

        Yep, that’s too bad.
