Amazon Hosting Press Event June 18, Most Likely For Its 3D Smartphone

Rumors and speculation have run wild the past couple of months over Amazon’s rumored smartphone, reported to be capable of a 3D-like user experience.

With the announcement of a press event, set to be held by Amazon in Seattle on June 18, we will finally see what the company has been working on.

In the video associated with the announcement, we can see users tilting their bodies and heads, as if manipulating a 3D image with their eyes. There is no doubt, whether it be a gimmick or not, we are just a tad excited to see what Amazon has in store for the tech community.

Would you like to attend Amazon’s event in person? They are taking requests right here.

Yay! a 3d “Buy with 1-Click” button can now jump out and molest my eye’s everytime I look at something online.

It’s a release event and it’s in Seattle and there is an open and free application process. Who cares if no one is interested in the product or that I hate what Amazon has done with Android. I’ll still go!! I applied!

    • I hear ya! i need a release event to happen in Atlanta for once.

    • michael arazan

I’ll go but only if a fleet of drones fly me there

“Oh woo”… Who says “Oh woo”?

    • Daistaar

Technically, you just did twice. 😉

You can see the top of the phone at 0:41-0:42. Fail.

    • Pakmann2k

If you go to the Amazon website, you can see 3/4 of the entire backside and upper corner. I don’t think they care about the back so much. Nor the top with the headphone jack.

    • FortitudineVincimus

yeah and, what exactly did that fraction of a second tell you that = a fail?

      • Cael

You can tell its a phone…

  • Joseph A. Yager

Insert sex toy joke here. Pun intended

    • David Imel

I feel like this joke went straight over my head.
