Deal: New Nexus 10 16GB for $269 With Free Shipping

Ready for the deal of the week? eBay is currently selling brand new Nexus 10 16GB models for $269 with free shipping. That is a hell of a discount when you consider the fact that Google originally sold this tablet for $399.

The Nexus 10 has been sold out on Google Play for months, so we aren’t exactly sure how new units are showing up now on eBay, and at this insanely low price. You won’t see us complaining, though. This is my personal go-to 10-inch tablet – has been for almost a year.

If you are in the market for a 10-inch tablet, get your wallet out.

looks like the reason they are a great price is they are an International version. NO US WARRANTY.

Update: They cost $325 right now via ebay link.

Would love a 10inch tablet but my wife bitches at me for still having my nexus 7 that I hardly use but keep it for the chance I’d do use it.

Never have been able to get past the oval’ish shape of this thing.

Not a huge fan of the excessive bezels either, but still use it all the time.

I simply can’t justify this over an $85 used B&N Nook HD+ (1920×1280) running cyanogenmod. Sure it’s laggy occasionally, but it still has a great display for reading magazines without zooming, and plays games well enough (platformers, world of goo, Room 1/2, etc). Plus it has a SD slot in addition to 32GB of onboard storage… it’s nice to be able to pop the microSD out of my contour video camera and share on the tablet on vacations.

This would be a deal 6 months ago, but the Nexus 10 is simply getting old. That doesn’t mean it’s useless, but it simply doesn’t have premium specs, thus making $270 a “fair price” not a deal IMO. Now if it was $200…

” That is a hell of a discount when you consider the fact that Google originally sold this tablet for $399.” Yeah…like a hundred years ago.

Considering one of these for my dad as well as my wife. My dad will likely just use it for internet surfing, possibly some youtube videos and maybe streaming pandora over wifi. I honestly don’t keep up with the tablet market as I have an iPad from work that I am allowed to use for personal use. Will this fit his needs now AND in the future for a couple of years? Or will updates to the OS eventually make it lag so bad it stops working?
Same thing goes for my wife minus the Pandora. However, she tends to open literally dozens of tabs while she’s surfing (can’t figure out why she needs 30-40 tabs but that’s a quest for another day), will this tablet handle 10-15 tabs (if I tell her to take it easy)? Or is it going to lag and freeze up on her?
    Thanks for any help!!!

I have had mine for over a year and my wife is almost as bad with the tabs. I don’t have any issues even after os upgrades. She watches Netflix on it a lot too and it looks great.

        Thanks for the feedback!

I’ve had mine since day one. Current crop of tablets are just now catching up to the specs on this one. Screen is incredible. Nothing out right now has even tempted me to replace it. Im not a gamer so i can’t speak to that, but it does everything else with ease.

  • Just bought 4 of these for my kids. Now they can stop fighting over the iPads and asking me for Androids. Dame 6 year olds.

Bought a 32GB N10 from eBay on the last deal they had for $299. Absolutely love it. Great screen and performance. Can’t complain for the $$$

  • Manthas

Love my N10, just wish I had more local storage on the device. I can’t stand the form factor of the Samsung Galaxy tabs, and while I really like the Xperia Z / Z2 tablets, the display on the N10 has spoiled me, so I haven’t found a good potential replacement, yet.

  • Matt

I’ve had mine for some time and love it although it does seem to be lagging a bit online as of late.

Killer deal but I did get my wallet out – for a competitor’s tablet. Got tired of waiting for Google to make up their mind about what they were doing with the Nexus 10.

  • Phil

I wish they would announce the new nexus 10 already. Ive been waiting for ever

Hmmm should I sell the nexus 7 add 100 bucks for this decisions, decisions

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

You’d prefer a device with almost 2 year old specs?

      • grumpyfuzz

on kitkat it still performs pretty good, but not the best by any means.

      • Marcus

How can I frame this so I don’t get The that’s what she said response…. Forget it i want to see what the extra 3 inches would do for the tablet experience. There I said it! But you have a good point

        • Keith Hollis

          …that’s what she said.

          (someone had to do it)

      • 213ninja

the specs of the nexus 10 are still quite beastly, especially for kit kat. the display sh*ts on everything too….and dual front speakers. it’s a media monster.

      • Nate

I have a newly bought Asus ME301T which for all intents…is a 2012 Nexus 7. Runs great. Does what I need. Specs ain’t everything. If I want high specs I’ll go to my LG G2 or GS4.
