Sprint’s Framily Plans Headed to Best Buy on April 4

rsz_sprint-logo

Announced today, Sprint is bringing Framily Plans to Best Buy stores, starting April 4. As of right now, Framily Plans are only purchasable through a Sprint store or through its website. In addition to this news, Sprint and Best Buy are handing out $100 Best Buy gift cards April 4 thru April 13 when customers also sign up for a Sprint Easy Pay device installment plan.

Allow me to explain Framily Plans real quick – one line of service will cost a new Sprint customer $55 a month. This gets you unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of data to use however you see fit. For each additional new Sprint customer who joins the “Framily” group, the cost per person goes down $5 a month, up to a maximum monthly discount of $30 per line in the group.

If you build a group of at least seven people, all members get unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of data for just $25 a month up to ten people. Not a bad deal, right? Minus Sprint’s coverage and network speeds.

Head on into a Best Buy starting tomorrow to sign your group up.

Much friends. So family. Wow.

What exactly has come of the Sprint Buyout? . . . What are they doing? There’s a lot more money invested but I haven’t heard jack

    • Cael

CEO of Softbank basically said they couldn’t do anything for Sprint unless they also bought T-Mobile.

    1. Tim, last night on the show you mentioned the app “simple”. I applied for the invite and now they are having apply for a card. It’s just a bank card, right? no credit involved? Sorry, i could do the research but i’d rather hear it from an actual user.
    2. Is DL just ignoring microsoft? they stepped up yesterday. Let’s get an opinion piece from Tim or Ron. You guys are civil. Like i’m actually interested in the 930.

Microsoft?…. This is “DROID” life. When Microsoft starts releasing Android phones I’m sure they’ll cover it.

      • LionStone

Nah, they cover iPhone so Windows is warranted, I need Windows info too.

        • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

They do comparisons for major announcements when it’s warranted…the iPhone release always gets a blog/comparison…because it’s the iPhone… the main competition. They won’t just randomly cover windows phone devices… no reason for that.

      • Daeshaun Griffiths

i mean….Tim wrote up the article on the rumored cortana, we covered their ceo selection, and that MS asked HTC to makes phones for them. But i agree, this is droid-life.

        • JBartcaps

I like not having any Windows fanboys on this site, they’re a plague

Simple is just a bank card, purely debit. No credit involved. :)

As for Microsoft, let’s tweet @ronoffringa to get a piece up on it.

  • Yeah that’s probably it

Is Sprint that network that still sells those BlueBerry phones?
