Moto G Now Available Through US Cellular for $99 After Instant Rebate

moto g

Budget-minded customers can grab the Moto G on US Cellular online starting today and in retail stores starting February 10. The device will only cost $99 off contract thanks to an instant rebate of $90, so that’s not a bad deal. The device is available through US Cellular’s “No Contract” plans, which includes unlimited voice, messaging, and data for only $50 per month.

The Moto G seems to be pleasing folks who pick one up, which is surprising to say for a phone that is only $99 off contract. The Moto G has a 4.5″ HD display, quad-core processor, exceptional battery life, and it comes with Android 4.4 – that’s something even the top tier phones can’t say yet.

US Cellular fans, go grab it.

    “Budget-minded customers” and “…for only $50 per month.” ???

I think this is the ultimate feature phone replacement. I want to replace my wife’s dumb phone with this on T- Mobile. She has unlimited data already. This would be her first “real” phone.

    • PoisonApple31

Mom’s all over Wisconsin are still using the iPhone 4 – scared to trying something new and passing the upgrade on to their kids :)

      • Pedro

What is your Mom doing all over Wisconsin?

Oh, it’s a special insertion of the apostrophe to degrade grammar. Gotcha.

I still do not see what the appeal of this phone is.

    • John Legere

Probably the best non LTE device you can pick up. This phone is not for anyone who reads an Android blog.

      • Daistaar

Not to mention HSPA is no slouch and comparable to LTE for most tasks.

US Cellular used EVDO, and it IS a slouch compared to LTE.

          • Daistaar

EVDO? As in 3G? Wow they’re behind the times… I used to think that Verizon and Sprint were the only non-GSM carriers left…

          • http://twitter.com/geoff5093 Geoff Johnson

Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, the old Metro PCS and more are all CDMA. The only GSM carriers were T-Mobile and AT&T I believe. At least we’re all moving to LTE

    • Sarpedon1069

I just bought one a week ago and I absolutely love it! The screen is great, two day plus battery life, KitKat, and all for only $200 off contract. In my opinion its the best value for a smartphone on the market.

      • http://twitter.com/geoff5093 Geoff Johnson

$299 for the Moto X is a better deal

    • Dr_Buttballs

Do you mean the Verizon variant or the Moto G in general? This phone is actually pretty solid.
