AmazonWireless Hosts Deal on Top Verizon Devices, RAZR MAXX and RAZR M Only $0.01

I love the holidays. It seems that all of my favorite things go on sale, including smartphones. For a limited time, naturally, AmazonWireless is hosting a deal on select Verizon devices that should make for some happy buyers.

The original DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX are both on sale for only a penny, while upgrading and new customers can get the Galaxy S3 16GB for just $79.99. If you’re looking for one of Verizon’s new phones, you can grab the RAZR M for one cent as well, or grab the slightly aged HTC Rezound for the same price.

Either way, you’re getting some sweet holiday deals.

  • JeffColorado

Rezound is showing at $80 for an upgrade. I have this phone and love it, but it need to be free-on-contract at this point (it is a year old after all).

I can’t seem to get the s3 to show 79 for my wife’s upgrade?

  • Richard

The black RAZR M is one cent only for new contract; however, the white RAZR M is one cent for both new contract and contract extension.

    • Richard

Never mind, the black is one cent now as well.

  • WAldenIV

The M is a great value at $99 so anyone on the fence should definitely grab it for a cent.

  • scott scheuerman

The artice is not correct,, it states new and upgrade GS3 for $79 and thats not correct..

The original DROID RAZR and RAZR MAXX are both on sale for only a penny, while upgrading and new customers can get the Galaxy S3 16GB for just $79.99

I wish wish wish I could find someone where I live here outside Denver that owns an M to find out if the signal strength thing that’s been reported would actually impact us.

I’ve done the ‘check the dBm in the store of the M next to the Razr HD/Maxx HD’ and sure enough, I can replicate the dBm measurement getting worse while holding the M versus the others.

I just wish I knew if it would actually cause a problem where my wife would be using it as her office buidling is kind of unreceptive to ALL cell signals.

Guess the only way to find out is to buy one and see first hand.

Anybody ever buy from Amazonwireless on a new line and then return/replace a phone for a different phone?

    • steve0617

Well, whadda know – no exchanges:

      Hello Steve,

We don’t offer exchanges on AmazonWireless. However, if you’re not satisfied with your phone, you may return your order for a refund within 30-days from the delivery date.

When purchasing a cell phone with a 2-year service contract, it’s always wise to do research on a phone you’re interested in purchasing. You can find information about all of the phones we sell on our website:

      http://wireless.amazon.com

Going down to the local Verizon store and getting some hands-on experience to use the phone can also be very helpful. You can also find information about each phone at Verizon’s website here:

      http://www.verizonwireless.com

      I hope this helps.

      Best regards,

    • PyroHoltz

Where outside of Denver are you?

My buddy has the RAZR M and we work in South Littleton/Roxborough and he lives in Golden. He has nothing but good things to say about it. I’m looking to pick one up for my wife.

      • steve0617

Wow, I ummm, live in SW Littleton/Roxborough!. Just west of Waterton Tavern. I’m not concerned about here as the signal is fantastic but more on C470 and then the Park Meadows/Inverness area where my wife works.

  • DC_Guy

No (discount) love for the Note 2?

    • Chris

It isn’t even out yet on Verizon! Lol

      • DC_Guy

        I wouldn’t be opposed to a discounted pre-order. LOL

  • Daistaar

Slightly aged? I think the preferred term is matured… Global, ICS…yes… Matured…(lol)

    • http://www.droid-life.com/ Tim-o-tato

      Every so slightly aged. :)

  • kingsfan33

Too bad off-contract prices never go on sale

    • jldleo

ohhh wouldn’t that be sweet if they did..

      • Derek Haneman

They can’t actually give customers what they want, that would be out of character for them ;).

    • Derek Haneman

Yeah no kidding, i have zero interest in getting into another contract. Just hoping my poor little Droid-X survives till the Nexus 4 get back in stock

      • garyferg

My droid X just dies. I ran it through the washer. Yesterday morning :(

    • michael arazan

Not even a meager 5-15 % off even at eol, vzw charges full price all the way to the day they stop selling them, I”m looking at swappa and ebay, but ebay used phones are either over priced or come from people who lie about conditions. Anyone know of websites that sell older phones at fair prices, refub or new at a better deal

  • thronez

New contracts only. Hoping Amazon has something in store for the upgraders!

    • Mack

Agreed. Hopefully cyber Monday will include something for upgrades, I’m looking to buy a RAZR M for for someone as a Christmas present on our family plan.

      • thronez

That’d be a great gift! Here’s to hoping, Mack
