James Bond’s Android of Choice is the Sony Xperia TL and It is Coming to AT&T

The next, and maybe last, Daniel Craig Bond movie is coming out soon and not without it’s product endorsements. Sony has snatched up the rights to say that Bond uses an Android device, more specifically their newly announced Xperia TL. We’re not sure what makes this a Bond phone since it lacks cool gadgets like a grappling hook or blinding laser beam.

Sony’s latest flagship is however, a 4.6″ device that will be surfing AT&T’s LTE network. On top there is a 720p HD Reality display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and the rear features a 13MP camera that can go from sleep mode to taking pictures very quickly. A 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor is at the heart of it all, but if you’re going for your wallet you will have to wait. AT&T didn’t say when this will be launching and left us only with the clue of “in the coming weeks.”

I think Daniel Craig could of made a hell of a Bond.
But the last few movies just weren’t 007 to me at all. I mean WTF is Q?!

It was delayed. Oh wait… you mean the brilliant device creator for MI6’s R&D department.

  • Hunter

    Not a bad looking device.

    • That’s how I feel about all the Sony phones…until you see them from the side. Yeesh.

  • Futbolrunner

I’m just glad it’s an Android phone and not an iPhone.

  • Just signed for two more so he’s going to be in 5

This movie was suppose to go into production in 2010 and be released in 2011 until United Artist ran out of money right after they acquired tom cruise for some weird reason. Sucks the movie had to be put on hold because the studio had no money, could have been working on bond 24 by now

Looks alright, but I like the design of the Xperia ion much better. At least AT&T put their stupid logo at the bottom of the phone this time around.

  • Uh…aren’t ALL laser beams blinding?!

Bond movies never really caught my interest. I want to like them though.

Not shocking news as Sony Pictures releases the Bond films.

Daniel Craig’s Bond previously used a Sony erricksson candybar style phone with a non touch screen, when using it as a tracker with homing capabilities, that all android phones now have, with homing apps for your phone and kids phones

As far as I know, Daniel Craig signed on to star in at least 5 Bond films. Can’t wait for Nov 9th, I’m addicted to anything 007 related.

    • Kane

Never heard he had signed for 5 films. Was in recent news that he just recently signed for one more after Skyfall. Wonder how much Sony payed to get in 007. How awesome would it be if he had the next Nexus

      • Stew

I believe he signed on for 2 more bringing the total to 5.

    Chin is horrendous.

It overall seems a lot bigger than it needed to be.
