Verizon’s Accessory Page for the DROID RAZR M Goes Live Ahead of Schedule

Just a wee bit ahead of an official announcement that is taking place in an hour, Verizon’s landing page for accessories compatible with the new DROID RAZR M has gone live. So far, there are no cases or anything branded for the RAZR M, but it does make the device very much “official.”

Listed is a Logitech Mini Boombox, headphones, a Bluetooth headset, and a Bluetooth speaker. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a RAZR M, go get your accessories ahead of schedule.

Looks like Motorola is still in failure mode even after the Google buy out. They said they would focus on less quantity and more quality devices. When exactly is that supposed to start? So far just with the RAZR line we have. Droid RAZR, RAZR Maxx, RAZR Developer, RAZR M, RAZR HD and that is all within 11 months. That doesn’t include the phones that they let fall off the face of the earth which are essentially RAZR’s without the packaging. Droid Bionic, Droid 3, Droid 4, Droid X2 all of which released within a year to 14 months. So that’s 9 phones which are nearly identical in most respects within 14 months. Simple math 14 months / 9 phones = 1.55 months for every phone. Sorry but that is just ridiculous.

I’m confused as why you would count the RAZR developer edition as a separate phone? The RAZR, RAZR Maxx, and the Droid 4 are almost a year old!!!! How is that not a focus on fewer more powerful devices? Also you do know that Bionic, Droid 3, and the Droid X2 all came out before the buy out right? So why are you including them in your rant now? I don’t see what the big deal is with having a mid range phone, and a high end phone. I don’t see the problem at all.

Based on the pictures on Amazon it looks like the mini Boombox uses mini-USB not micro. WHY?!?!?!?! All of their, and just about everyone else’s, speakers like that use mini-usb…it makes no sense to force someone to carry an extra charger when everything else is micro.

        It’s 2012…nothing else uses mini-usb. I shouldn’t have to.

im guessing it was designed before 2012

Hmm…those are pretty much universal accessories. But I am curious about the M as well.

Anyone know what the M stands for?
