2 years Google Fi service for free
On top of your purchase, Google is throwing in 2 years of data on the Pixel Watch 4 LTE through Google Fi. As Google notes in the terms, “No changes to your current phone plan or number required.” In other words, this is just a free Google Fi service for 2 years on your Pixel Watch 4. You do not need to have Google Fi service on your phone – you can keep your current carrier.
Do keep in mind that this gives you 2 years of connectivity for things like on-the-go messaging, using maps, playing music, etc. Calling is not supported and that’s likely because this is stand-alone smartwatch service that is separate for your current carrier. In total, you get 500MB of data each month on your watch.
In case it wasn’t clear, you should not be buying a standard WiFi/Bluetooth Pixel Watch 4 anymore if this deal stands. Just get the LTE model and connect it to 2 years of free Google Fi service.
