According to the latest report from overseas, Samsung will host its next Unpacked event on August 20 in New York City, where the company will unveil the Galaxy Note 8. Following that event, it is reported launch will take place in the 3rd or 4th week of August, meaning shortly (about a week or so) after the event.
There have been tidbits floating around regarding the Galaxy Note 8, but if you’ve noticed, we haven’t paid any of it much mind. The important info, which is by no means confirmed, is that the Note 8 may feature dual rear-facing cameras. Beyond that, expect a phone that looks like a Galaxy S8 and S8+, but is a little bigger and comes with a S Pen. Once more concrete information is floating around, believe me, we’ll fire up the hypetrain.
Again, Samsung has not yet sent out invites or confirmed the aforementioned info, so for now, just pencil in that date. These dates have a tendency to be quite fluid when we’re still a month or so away.
Excited for the Galaxy Note 8 or is everyone just waiting to see what Google has planned?
