Just wanted to quickly share the newest info from Android on the distribution of the various Android operating systems running in the wild. The top dog is 2.1 and after seeing the success of the Motorola Droid and any new device that hits the market, this should come as no surprise. However, it is still pretty surprising to see that 34.1% of users are still running 1.5. Yikes.
While this data was collected over the last few weeks, I’m interested to see how it will change now that the Eris has officially jumped to 2.1.
Can you imagine being stuck below 2.0 still? Can you imagine ever being back to 2.0.1 even? I feel spoiled. Sort of. Maybe not.
