On the bright side, lots of developers have given their applications sale prices for Valentine’s Day weekend, so everyone can take advantage of the deals.

This week, many classic titles are up for grabs, including a couple of my own favorites. You can score Assassin’s Creed Pirates, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, and Crazy Taxi for only $0.99.

Update:  We crashed the PowerA site for the MOGA, so they temporarily took it down. They are assuring customers that the deal is still on, though, and that they have extended it:

Wow! You must really like MOGA!
Don’t worry, the deal is still on.

We have temporarily taken down due to the overwhelming response.

Please check back as we will be back in business shortly!

Didn’t get your order in? Don’t worry, we will be extending the offer.

Update 2:  The site is back up! They have apparently extended the sale until tomorrow, assuming their stock lasts that long.

Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4 to Launch for Android Sometime After iOS, What Gives?!

Can’t win them all I guess. Today, Gameloft confirmed that their upcoming war-based masterpiece Modern Combat 4 will launch sometime shortly after it is released for iOS, on December 6. Naturally, they wouldn’t give any word on why we are being snubbed with this longer wait time, but I can only imagine it’s to give us some extra special features. Yeah, that will be the day, Tim.

You know what else we have to look forward to on December 6 though? That’s right, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City!
