Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4 Live on Google Play, Proceeds to be Incompatible With Everything
This afternoon, Gameloft’s highly anticipated Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour hit Google Play. The game looks to bring console-like gaming to your mobile, as you play through an intense story mode, as well as an insanely in-depth multiplayer mode. Does it have enough to take down Shadowgun? We shall see.
Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4 to Launch for Android Sometime After iOS, What Gives?!
Can’t win them all I guess. Today, Gameloft confirmed that their upcoming war-based masterpiece Modern Combat 4 will launch sometime shortly after it is released for iOS, on December 6. Naturally, they wouldn’t give any word on why we are being snubbed with this longer wait time, but I can only imagine it’s to give us some extra special features. Yeah, that will be the day, Tim.
You know what else we have to look forward to on December 6 though? That’s right, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City!

Video: Gameloft Releases Modern Combat 4 Developer Diaries
Modern Combat is probably the most well known war-based game on mobile. Many would refer to the series as the Call of Duty of Android and I would tend to agree. This morning, Gameloft has published a video that is part of a series that gives us a behind-the-scenes look as to how the developers are making this the most insane Modern Combat offering yet.
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour Trailer Goes Live, Looks Pretty Intense
A new trailer for Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4 has gone live and it’s definitely leaving us wanting a lot more. As we can see from the types of vehicles in the trailer, it’s most certainly taking place in the future and gives off a certain Black Ops 2 vibe, which is completely okay in my book. The Modern Combat series is certainly setting the bar for FPS war games on Android, which means we get to take a break from Dead Trigger.
The game is due out in the Fall of 2012, so we’ll just have to hang in there and await an official release date.
