In classic Gameloft fashion, they have released yet another upcoming N.O.V.A. 3 trailer. We always knew that this game took certain aspects from the Halo series, but now after seeing this new multiplayer gameplay trailer, I can officially say that this game is Halo-on-the-go. Take a peak at the trailer down below to see what I mean. Notice the Warthog? In the new N.O.V.A. multiplayer, teams will have to work together to drive vehicles and to defeat their opponents. Oh, like Halo? Either way, the trailer is making this game out to look pretty flippin’ sweet and the trailer says it should be out this month. Excited?

A trailer has just been released for the upcoming N.O.V.A. 3 title that is set to be released by Gameloft. We have been a fan of the N.O.V.A. series of games, so it’s exciting to know that a new one is just around the corner, especially now that mobile gaming technology has become stronger than ever. Unfortunately, the trailer is merely a tease and we don’t get to see any actual gameplay or even a launch date. A simple “coming soon” just isn’t good enough for us anymore.

We’ll keep you posted…

Back at CES, Gameloft was able to show off a new feature that both serious and casual gamers will surely enjoy, in-game voice chatting. During gameplay over Verizon’s 4G LTE network, some of Gameloft’s game portofilio will enable users to trash-talk chat with up to 3 opponents. While the first game to allow for this new feature is Asphalt 6, you will likely see this come to a variety of games in the near future. Modern Combat 3 with team chat, anyone?

Gameloft’s VP of publishing had this to say:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Verizon to illustrate the potential of in-game voice chat and multiplayer over the 4G LTE network,” said Baudouin Corman, vice president of Publishing for the Americas at Gameloft.  “Gameloft seeks to provide gamers with a complete mobile gaming experience and feels that these features are at the forefront of the platform’s future.”

Excited to have in-game voice chatting? How many serious mobile gamers do we have?
