Deal: LG G2 From Verizon is Just $299 if You Buy Through ALLSET

With today’s launch of Verizon’s ALLSET prepaid plan with 4G LTE, a pretty solid deal on the LG G2 has come along for the ride. Should you decide to join the prepaid world, you can add-on a brand new G2 for $299. That is without a contract, of course.

If you were to buy the same G2 without ALLSET, it would run you $499. At $299, we are talking lower than Nexus 5 levels here, but you are getting a phone that is arguably better. Keep in mind that the G2, even though it is about a year old, is probably the most underrated phone from last year. It has a gorgeous 1080p LCD display, crazy good battery life, an awesome camera, and is pretty hack-able for the most part.  (more…)

Verizon Announces 4G LTE Connectivity for ALLSET Prepaid Plan, Launches July 17

Two weeks ago, we exclusively reported that Verizon would introduce 4G LTE connectivity to its ALLSET prepaid plan starting July 17. Today, Verizon made it official. After keeping 4G LTE out of its prepaid plans for years, Big Red will now allow you to “bring your own device” to ALLSET and not have to worry about contracts. Even XLTE-ready devices will work with ALLSET going forward.

The plan works like this - $45 will get you unlimited talk and text, plus 500MB of data. If you want more data, you can pay for BRIDGE DATA at $5 for another 500MB, $10 for 1GB, or $20 for 3GB. BRIDGE DATA expires after a certain amount of days if you don’t use it ($5 data after 30 days, $10 and $20 after 90 days). You can add up to two BRIDGE DATA packages at a time.

If you sign-up for auto pay, Verizon will also give you another 500MB of data at no cost.  (more…)

Verizon Prepaid is Finally Getting 4G LTE, Likely on July 17

According to sources of ours, Verizon prepaid is finally getting access to the carrier’s massive 4G LTE network come July 17. As those of you in the prepaid game know, Verizon has lagged behind others in terms of prepaid data speeds, leaving their customers on 3G-only, which is painful on Big Red’s incredibly slow CDMA network. That is about to change, but you now have to decide if their plan is worth considering.  (more…)

Verizon Announces New ALLSET Prepaid Plan Starting at $45, Still No LTE Included

Verizon announced a new prepaid wireless plan this morning called ALLSET. The plan includes unlimited talk and text plus 500MB of data per month for $45, along with the option to add on “Bridge Data,” that can extend that data allotment by an extra 500MB, 1GB, or 3GB. Also, if added on Bridge Data goes unused, it can be pushed to the next month, sort of like rollover data.  (more…)
