Official Predators Game Hits Google Play, Where Has This Been My Whole Life?

An official Predators game has hit Google Play today. As a quick note, Predator (the original with Mr. Universe) is one of my all-time favorite movies, so the series has a special place in my heart. From what we see in the trailer, it follows the newer movie very closely except for one major change. Instead of playing as the humans that have been delivered to the planet, you play as the predator and your goal is become the ultimate killer. Now that’s a good twist.

Using your weapons, thermal vision, and superior hunting abilities, you set out to kill all humans and even other predators to establish your dominance  The game is $3, but hey, the game looks pretty awesome.

This game has been on IOS forever. I beat it on my first gen ipod touch right after the predators movie came out.

  • Wyveryx

Anyone else felt like saying “FATALITY” at the end of the video??

  • JulianZHuang

About time android got it. Haha

  • vitriolix

Cool looking game, I’ll happily pay $2.99

IF IT BLEEDS WE CAN KILL IT!! http://youtu.be/qlicWUDf5MM

    • michael arazan

      “Hey man, you’re bleeding”

“I haven’t got time to bleed”

“Do you got time to duck!?”

Glad it is based on the newest of the franchise. The last thing you want is a game of the second movie and have danny glover’s character wondering the forest saying that he is too old for this stuff every 5 seconds…..

    • Derek Ross

That second one was so awful, it’s definitely one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. One and three are great though, except for the end of one where out of nowhere the Predator laughs like the Joker when up till that time they’d never made a sound that even resembles a human.

      • WallyIAm

You do realize that was a recording of Sonny’s laugh, right?

        • WallyIAm

Wait a minute…was that a recording, or was he imitating Billy’s laugh?

Now I have a reason to watch it again.

          • JMonkeYJ

the predator uses a recording while he’s wearing his helmet. after he takes off his helmet he mimics arnold and then the laugh. it is awesome.

  • fartbubbler

    ZOMG!!!!!

    bought.

  • 3of5

iOS has had this for a while now

    • http://www.facebook.com/nicholas.neveu Nicholas Neveu

      so…who cares.

      • BSweetness

It’s just sad that it took nearly two and a half years to make it Android.

        • http://twitter.com/misterE33 Mr E

agreed. i’m glad we’re at least seeing more and more things ported to android, and even apps released on both. in another year or so, the tables could very well turn.

          • Alex Farra

agreed and FYI it’s a great game. I owned it when i had an itouch a couple years back (I know I’m ashamed of it too ;)

          • http://lostsync.net/ lostsync

There’s nothing in the world wrong with owning an iPod touch. I wish I still had mine; lost it in a house fire.

        • michael arazan

Reviews of the game say even though it is a paid game it is riddled with IAP’s and rigged to force you to buy the IAP’s in order to continue through the game.

    • alex drum

android has had 80% or so of your “revolutionary” feature for a while. nice lte, 4in screen, pull down notifications, device syncing, cloud backup, actual navigation (iOS actually still doesn’t have it) …the list could go on for days.

      • BSweetness

3of5’s comment doesn’t read so much as gloating, but rather a matter of fact statement. The title of the article does ask “where has this been my whole life?” And for the past two and a half years, it’s been on iOS. That certainly doesn’t mean iOS is better because of that, just that it’s an older game that has now been ported to Android years after its initial release.

        • EvanTheGamer

But why the hell would he even chime in with that useless fact anyways? That doesn’t make sense. He’s just trollin’ and rollin’ around here.

        • Hunter

The way the comment reads is up to interpretation.

      • thistimearound

They’re not “his” revolutionary features. They’re Apple’s. Also, he’s spot on. I beat this game over a year ago on iOS. Hooray, it’s on Android. But they didn’t add anything new. They shouldn’t be sucked off for giving so little of a crap about Android. Make them work for your favor.

        • BSweetness

Not only have they not added anything new, but they’re also charging $2.00 more for the Android version.

        • alex drum

The topic was IOS so my argument actually stands as it is, no correction needed. same thing when you are talking about a boy in a storie, you will say he, not the boy over and over, it gets redundant. moving on, your absolutely right but its the fact he said it on an android forum, its like me taking my post and sticking it on an apple forum full of apple fanboys… at that point I’m just asking for trouble.

    • EvanTheGamer

I think I smell a dirty troll among us.

      Android Army, KILL ‘EM ALL!

    • panicswhenubered

Unfortunately, he’s right. I remember my buddy showing my this game on his iPhone almost 2 years ago :(

      • Hunter

But you could hardly see it on a screen so small. Now it can finally live up to its potential!

        • panicswhenubered

          lol this is true.

    • EvanTheGamer

Whoever liked this so-called trollish comment is an Apple lover.

    • fartbubbler

I’m sure they tried to patent it.

  • MikeSaver

    grrr
