The Android team announced at the end of last week that Android 4.0.3 would be the base of Ice Cream Sandwich going forward. Everyone cheered at the new social integration tools and camera capabilities, but then quickly realized one thing – the Galaxy Nexus is still on Android 4.0.2. So while we watched the Nexus S then receive Android 4.0.3 over the weekend, you can imagine that some G-Nex owners were slightly annoyed. And while we are sure that an update will be out in no time, this just means that we will simply have to look to the developer community to get us up to date. After all, isn’t that the beauty of a Nexus?

We grabbed 3 of the first Android 4.0.3 based ROMs that we could find for the LTE version, all of which happen to have been created by some of our favorite people or based off of our favorite ROMs. There is a CyanogenMod 9 kang, the RootzBoat from our boy Birdman, and some Gummy love from Kejar who you all know from the Liberty series.
