The big news of the last month has clearly been the delay of the DROID Bionic, but that hasn’t stopped continued speculation and leaks from popping up.  Today, we’re seeing what is rumored to be the Red Eye boot animation for the device.  There isn’t necessarily a way to tell if this indeed for the Bionic, but since it’s new, we can sort of assume so.  Although, we still wouldn’t put it past Motorola to issue new anims for the DROIDX2 and DROID3, so this could easily be for one of those devices which are expected to be out before the Bionic.  

And since I know that a couple of you will ask, I’ll just toss out a few of the rumors I’ve heard regarding the release date for the device:  July 14, July 21 or September. Yeah, talk about a time frame.  I would recommend not holding onto any of those dates though, as it’s way too early to be speculating on an exact day.  In fact, just ignore that I even mentioned them.  If Moto or Verizon are targeting a day, it’s likely to change at least another 10 times.  Just expect it to be in the summer like we’ve been told.
