Launching this week inside of Instagram, users can now add polls to their Stories! With this, you can ask a question, then receive votes in real time, helping you decide on things you may be asking about. Can’t decide what type of donut to eat? Ask a poll question. Need help determining an outfit for your job interview? Ask a poll question.
On top of polls, Instagram announced new tools to help make you a bit more creative: a color picker for text and brushes and an alignment tool for text and stickers. As detailed, “When you choose a color for your text or drawing tool, you’ll see a new eyedropper icon at the far left. Use it to select any color from your photo or video and apply it to your text or drawing tool.”
I must be the only Instagram person that has never used Stories. Sad me.
