Google Wallet’s Web Version Got a Fresh Coat of Paint Today

Google Wallet, the former NFC payment service that now acts as a friend-to-friend money sharer, received a new UI on the web today. I couldn’t tell you what it looked like previously, because well, who uses Google Wallet these days (someone sell me on it in the comments)?

In the new Wallet, which is available across all web browsers, Google is giving you the option to send money to someone you owe via email address or phone number, utilize the quick Wallet-to-bank transfer, and set default payment methods, all without ever installing an app. The new Wallet for the web is basically the app you might have once installed.

To see the new Wallet, head over to wallet.google.com.
