T-Mobile’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Receive First Software Update

Receive your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge from T-Mobile already? Expect a software update almost immediately. According to T-Mobile support, a day 1 update is supposed to be ready for each, an update that wipes out some bugs and brings some stability to this year’s flagship line from the Korean manufacturer.

As you can see in the screenshot below, the update bumps the phone up to build UVU1AOCG and includes fingerprint scanner improvements, removes a reboot error, and fixes “clock drift,” audio quality, calendar event, and Exchange Global Address issues. “No new features” are introduced.

The update is 178MB in size.

In order to check for the update on either phone, head into Settings>About device>Software update.
