Tinder Plus, a premium version of the dating application Tinder, is now available for download on Google Play. With Plus, users who are willing to pay a monthly fee gain access to the ability to undo previous swipes, and also adjust their location at will, without having to actually be in that location.
For example, if you were taking a trip to New York City, you could start swiping through girls while still sitting on your couch with the Passport feature, just so you could have options lined up by the time you get there. If you accidentally swipe on a person the wrong way, you can undo it thanks to the new Rewind feature.
If utilizing these new features interests you, get ready to pay handsomely. Pricing starts at $9.99 a month for users 18 to 27 in age, and $19.99 a month for anyone over that age group. There has been a mini controversy over Tinder’s pricing scheme, with the company stating that users in the younger age group are “more budget constrained,” which just comes off as slightly offensive to us young folks.
Regardless, it is their service, and they can charge whatever they want. If Tinder Plus is what you need, have at it.
