Samsung to Introduce Galaxy “Mega” Phones, 5.8″ and 6.3″ Handsets

Samsung is at the forefront of embracing a “bigger is better” lifestyle with the size of smartphone displays. According to sources of SamMobile, Samsung’s upcoming Fonblets will now be called the Galaxy Mega line. The manufacturer currently plans to release two Galaxy Mega phones this year, a 5.8″ and a 6.3″.

It was previously reported that the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 would sport a 6.3″ display, but then it was toned back a bit to just 5.9″. Beyond the size of their displays, little is known about the two monsters, but color me somewhat excited. If I had to guess, we could see these devices possibly in time for IFA and then a holiday release.

We have asked a million times, but how big is too big? 6.3″ is definitely getting there.
