The unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy S4 is now less than two weeks away. Come next Thursday, the world will know what the “next big thing” is and whether or not Samsung will continue to dominate the mobile landscape. But before that happens, the Korean company is going to tease the hell out of us all, starting with the commercial we have included below.
The spot features a kid named Jeremy, who is the “secret messenger of Samsung Unpacked 2013.” The teaser initially starts out as if it’s the remake to Richard Pryor’s “Toy,” with what appears to be a very serious and privileged child rolling around in a Rolls Royce. He’s been chosen to keep the secret of next week’s unpacked event, but by the time the token bad business man arrives while talking on what may or may not be the new S4, with a box labeled “Unpacked,” it turns into some sort of cheesy bad Tom Hanks movie.
