AT&T lit up 4G LTE in 8 new markets this week: Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Detroit, MI; Honolulu, HI; Pittsburgh, PA; Sacramento, CA; Memphis, TN; and Birmingham, AL. That brings their total to some 72 markets and shows that they are pushing as hard as they can to try and catch up to Verizon.
Obviously I’m excited about the Portland go-live, but even more so am I excited over the speeds I’m seeing. Remember when Verizon’s network was shiny and new and unbelievably fast? Yeah, AT&T’s is living through that stage right now, and it’s awesome.
