The Dropbox team released a beta build of an upcoming update to their forums for users to try out and give feedback on. Mostly, the team is looking to make sure the app’s UI is streamlined for the Nexus 7 and features work without a hitch on Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean. Full changelog is below.
We’ve just given our Android app a tune-up! Here’s some of the stuff we’ve added:
- Video thumbnails
- Better video playback on ICS and Jelly Bean
- UI improvements for Nexus 7 tablets
- Open Dropbox files directly from other apps (ACTION_GET_CONTENT for the Android geeks :-P)
- Other bug fixes
