You Can Now Use Samuel L. Jackson’s Voice for Alexa, But It Ain’t Free

One of our planet’s most recognizable voices is now available for Amazon’s Alexa. Yup, I’m talking about the Jedi Master with the purple lightsaber, Samuel L. Jackson. While this isn’t Google Assistant, it’s still pretty cool.

Amazon is selling access to the voice for $1, but that’s just the introductory price. Once the introductory price is expired, it jumps to $4.99. We can only imagine how much Amazon had to pay to get Mr. Jackson’s voice for the service.

After purchasing, try saying:

“Alexa, ask Samuel L. Jackson where he is from.”
“Alexa, ask Sam to wake me up at 7am.”
“Alexa, ask Sam Jackson to sing happy birthday.”

Amazon explains that while Jackson’s voice can do a lot, he won’t be able to help with shopping, lists, reminders, or Skills.

Have at it.
