Best Buy is hosting a flash sale on its website today, which includes a deal on Insignia’s Google Assistant-powered smart speaker/alarm clock.
While there are plenty of smart speakers rocking Assistant these days, Insignia’s has a digital time readout, which can be good for some to have on the nightstand. Just like a Google Home, this device can control all of your smart home goodies and can be managed from within the Google Home application.
Unlike Google Home, though, the Insignia device does not always need to be plugged into an outlet, as it does support battery power. According to the specs listed, it can last up to 5 hours on batteries and playing jams, which isn’t bad for this thing.
