LG Shows Off the G6+ in Promo Video

Last month, LG announced a slightly improved G6 to select markets across the globe, calling it the LG G6+. Today, they showed it off in a short promo video on a sunny faux beach.

I say “slightly,” because the only real improvement to the device seems to be in the storage department, where LG bumped up the base to 128GB. Well, LG also tossed in wireless charging to countries that didn’t previously have it, so there’s that too. Otherwise, the G6+ package features in-box B&O Play earbuds and new colors, including gold, blue, and a newer black finish.

It’s too bad they didn’t upgrade the processor to a Snapdragon 835 and swap it for the regular G6 in the US, while tossing in the Quad DAC they ditched here. That’d have been worthy of the +.
