Drop tests are dumb. Really dumb. Unless you are a device protection/insurance company who is offering replacement services or you make screen protectors, you shouldn’t be dropping phones on the ground for pageviews or YouTube subs. You look like a fool. Stop doing it.
With that said, this video is great. I have no idea who this person is, but they are throwing a Galaxy S6 Edge as hard as they can on the ground to see if the screen can break. It doesn’t appear that they are succeeding, which is kind of impressive. While there is nothing scientific about this, it might show some of the durability included in Samsung’s new curved phone. Or, it could just be a cool video of someone going H.A.M. on a brand new $900 phone.
