After a couple of months of stock issues, Google’s Chromecast is now back in stock and shipping within 1-2 days through Google Play. Since being introduced in July, Google and a variety of other retailers have had trouble keeping the HDMI dongle in stock. Within the last week, though, we have seen Best Buy hold a steady inventory, so it makes sense that Google would catch up as well. It is their product after all.
At $35, the Chromecast is still a no-brainer if you are a tech enthusiast. While you may not use it by the hour, it certainly comes in handy as an additional to your home media setup. Plus, with additional support arriving in the future from additional media companies, it could become your go-to video streaming device.
