LG Posts G2 Teaser Video, Inadvertently Creeps Us Out

Showing little shyness from a good tease, LG posted a video to their YouTube account today, giving a quick glimpse of the upcoming G2 device. The video itself is quite weird, as LG attempts to personify the G2, mentioning that the device is inspired by everything about you. It’s inspired when you smile, when you dream and even when you cry. The company is attempting to relay that the device learns from us and our actions, but I think it came off as a bit creepy. Maybe that’s just me.

In the video, LG does confirm that the device sports back-facing volume and power buttons, so that’s a bonus. We have seen great leaked pictures and a video of the device, but nothing was technically “confirmed” from LG.

As mentioned at the end of the video, LG is hosting an event in New York on August 7. We will be in attendance, bringing you all of the info as it comes out.
