The Mobile World Congress has come to an end. We had some good announcements from Samsung and HTC, but would it be too far fetched to say that nothing too crazy happened? Even Eric Schmidt’s speech was a look at Chrome, something we have all been using for weeks. The next big Android event we have to look forward to is Google I/O, which is sure to be fantastic. So fantastic that they even added a third day to the event. Here are this week’s highlights if you missed any of them:
- Asus says they will be one of the first to deliver Google’s Jelly Bean to customers.
- Prototype phone left behind at restaurant, something from HTC perhaps?
- Hands-on with the Galaxy Nexus pogo dock from Samsung.
- Letter details Verizon’s stance on locked boootloaders.
- Verizon: Shared data plans coming mid-2012.
- HTC announces the One X, One S, and One V – Sets the bar for 2012 Android devices.
- DROID 2 Global receiving update for bug fixes.
- Andy Rubin: I don’t know anything about Motorola’s products.
- Asus introduces the Padfone.
- HTC acknowledges their bloated Sense UI, says they’re going back to the basics.
- Samsung introduces the Galaxy Beam with a built in projector, looks awesome.
