I don’t really know what to say with this one other than, yep, the failure that is/was the Amazon Fire Phone is finally priced where it should have been out of the gate. For $199, and without a contract or AT&T involvement, you can buy Amazon’s first, ultra-gimmicky phone.

This unlocked model includes 32GB of storage and works on the following GSM networks, according to Amazon –  “All GSM Networks including AT&T, T-Mobile, Walmart Family Mobile, MetroPCS, Brightspot, Simple Mobile, Mobal, Net10, Straight Talk, h20 Wireless, and OneSimCard.” CDMA networks like Sprint and Verizon are not compatible.

If you don’t even want to shell out $200 to tinker with Amazon’s take on a phone, keep in mind that when you purchase this phone, you also get a year free of Amazon Prime. Amazon Prime now costs $99 per year, so you are really getting the Fire Phone for $100, depending on how you look at it.
