Ustream Android App Receives Update, Users on Big Red to Get Their Own Verizon-branded Channels

Folks who love streaming on Ustream can go pick up the latest update to the official Android application, which brings special features just for Verizon customers. After the update, users on Big Red can enjoy their very own Verizon-branded Ustream channel, which will feature a “personal” mode that will act like a “link-only” sharing option. As an example, only folks who have the exact link will be able to watch your streams.

In addition, videos streamed in personal mode will have the option of being ad-free, as long as there are seven or fewer viewers. To top it off, supported devices can now stream in 720p through the service.
