Friends with unlimited data on Verizon who are on month-to-month contracts, are you ready to give up your precious plan for the land of the tiers? Big Red, starting on April 17, is willing to let you into their new MORE Everything plans at exclusive pricing for a limited time. What’s that, did you stop reading? Can’t say I blame you, but here is the deal anyway. (more…)
At only a month or so old, Verizon is already adjusting its MORE Everything data plans to better align with their biggest competitor, AT&T. You may recall AT&T’s headline grabbing move at the beginning of February, where it announced its “Best Ever Prices” for a family of four, with a 10GB $160 plan leading the charge. Verizon reached out today to note that they had recently made a move to match this offer. (more…)
Verizon quietly introduced a new $75 single line plan today that gives customers 2GB of monthly data, along with unlimited talk and text. According to sources of ours, this new plan is a “limited time promotion,” though we have no word on when it will end.
If that plan doesn’t sound like the deal for you, know that Verizon also has a semi-secret option called the “SAVE” plan that is $60 for 2GB of data, plus unlimited talk and text. Big Red is going to announce new “MORE Everything” plans that aim to give customers more data at no extra cost, doubled bandwidth, free 25GB of cloud storage, and unlimited international messaging. If you are a part of Verizon’s EDGE upgrade program, you will see extra discounts on your line access as well, which could vary depending on the amount of data you are signed up for.
Let’s talk about it all. (more…)
AT&T announced a new set of 10GB family plans with unlimited talk and text on this pre-Super Bowl Saturday afternoon that they are calling their “best-ever prices.” The family plans show solid discounts over previous rates and those that you would find from Verizon with similar amounts of data. There is a catch, of course, and that’s the requirement to sign-up for AT&T’s Next program or bring your own phone. Let’s talk about it all. (more…)
T-Mobile spent the last year trying to UnCarrier the mobile industry. They pulled the subsidy cost out of their smartphone plans, removed contracts from their world, and overall tried to save customers money. With the addition of 1 million net subscribers in Q3, I’d say they are having some early success, all while raising their middle-finger at competitors. Those competitors have taken note, and AT&T is the first to react. (more…)
